ADMISSIONS AND ELIGIBILITY FOR DIPLOMA COURSE – D.PHARM

Minimum qualification for admission to the course PUC 2nd year 10+2 or its equivalent with science recognized by the board. The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with PCB / PCM. Duration: 2 years Practical Training after completion of final D.Pharm Candidate has to undergo compulsory training of 750 hours over a period of three months at approved hospitals.

 

ADMISSIONS AND ELIGIBILITY FOR B.PHARM DEGREE COURSE

Minimum qualification for admission to the course:

1. Candidate who have passed the two year P.U.C. examination Karnataka P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or university with minimum 40% marks in any combination comprising physics, chemistry, Biology and / mathematics. Or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Minimum eligibility should based on the aggregate or P.C.M. or (PCB) or P.C.M.B.

2. Note: 1) In respect of candidates who have taken P.C.M.B. combination, the aggregate of P.C.M. or PCB whichever is higher shall be considered for the purpose of admission.

2) In the case of students belonging to SC/ST, A the minimum requirement in percentage of marks for the admission to B. Pharm course shall be 35% in combination.

3) Final D. Pharm Examination conducted by an authority approved by the Pharmacy council of India with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in all subjects of final D. Pharm.

Note: A candidate who has passed two years D.Pharm after his/her PUC (The academic year from the date of commencement of his /her study for the subject comprising the pharmacy curriculum to the date of completion of the examination followed by practical training and industrial training.

 

DIRECT ADMISSION TO IInd B.PHARM

Minimum qualification for admission to the course 1. Pass in Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm).

 


ADMISSIONS AND ELIGIBILITY FOR M.PHARM COURSE

Minimum qualification for admission to the course

1. A Candidate who have passed B. Pharm degree examination of any recognised University/PCI/AICTE and who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks (Aggregate of 4 years) shall be eligible for the admission to the M. Pharm course.

2. Pharmacy teachers having recognised B.Pharm qualification and with minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in an approved institutions by AICTE nad PCI will be eligible provided they hav secured not less than 50% of the maximum marks (Aggregate of 4 years in B.Pharm). For SC/ST/(Kannada) (Category - I candidate the prescribed marks will be 50% of the maximum marks in the qualifying examinations)

 

 

ADMISSIONS AND ELIGIBILITY FOR PHARM. D. COURSE
(DOCTOR OF PHARMACY)

Minimum qualification for admission to the course

1. 10 + 2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects - (Mathematics / Biology)

2. A pass in D. Pharm course from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section-12 of the Pharmacy Act.

3. Any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any the above examinations.
(Provided that a student complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
