Principal and Professorof Pharmacology

He has completed B.Pharm in 1985 with First rank (VLCP, Raichur) from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga (now Kalaburagi) and M.Pharm (pharmacology) First class from Govt. College of Pharmacy, Bangalore in 1987. He has completed PG. Diploma in computer sciences, First class from Bharti Vidya Bhavan in 1990 and Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 2006.

            He has joined the profession of teaching at J.S.S.College of Pharmacy, Mysore in 1987 soon after post graduation, and served for more than a year. Later joined at H.K.E.S.’s college of Pharmacy, Gulbarga in 1989 and working till date after serving as professor and HOD of Pharmacology and Professor-in-charge for Pharma D., for more than a decade. He has more than 33 years of experience in teaching and guiding at UG, PG, Ph.D. He has been awarded 1)Sri. Chandrashekhar Swamiji Gold Medal by Gulbarga University, Gulbarga, 2) ‘Distinguished Alumnus’ award by Andhra University Alumni Association 2016, 3) ‘Teacher of the year 2018’ by Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI), Karnataka branch.

            He has authored about 13 books that include 5 subject books, 2 medical dictionaries, 2 motivational books, 3 spiritual books and 1 poetry book. He has more than 100 scientific publications and presentations at 90 scientific conferences. He has delivered about 75 invited scientific guest lectures, about 50 spiritual and motivational lectures. He is presently Chairman BOS Pharma D at RGUHS, Bangalore, and Editor-in-Chief of RJPS quarterly scientific official publication of Rajiv Gandhi University Bangalore (RGUHS).
